Pregnancy Calendar
So now, you have passed the first trimester of the pregnancy calendar, where it was considered as the high-risk period of pregnancy. By this time, you may now already start to announce the great news. if you still have not, what are you waiting for? go and pass along this wondrous new phase in your life, before they get a hint as the development in your pregnancy started to show during the second trimester of the pregnancy calendar.
Second Trimester (week 14 – week 27):
Week 14: The second trimester just started. Pregnancy symptoms are starting to ease up.
Week 15: Your baby is starting to move, mostly kick but you might not feel it yet. You are noticing your weight gain.
Week 16: Your baby bump is noticeable, as your baby’s eye starting to make movements.
Week 17: The baby inside is starting to get ready for the real world, as he/she plays with his/her umbilical cord. and your weight rapidly increases.
Week 18: Continue visiting your doctor as you feel that your baby starts to move around.
Week 19: Leg cramps become painful.
Week 20: You may now know the gender of your baby, girl or boy, find out through an ultrasound.
Week 21: Stretch marks are showing, as your baby’s brain is taking off.
Week 22: Your baby is becoming stronger and his/her should soon develop.
Week 23: two of her five senses are working as he/she can hear and feel your movements.
Week 24: You may want to concentrate in keeping yourself and your baby healthy in this week as your baby prepares to breathe air.
Week 25: if your baby has not made his/her first breath, then maybe this week he/she should.
Week 26: Baby start to open their eyes.
Week 27: Finally, the last week of the second trimester is here. So start preparing yourself to be another in the third trimester.
Third Trimester (Week 28 to Week 40)
Week 28: Your now blinks! as you may also want to think what the name of your baby should be.
Week 29: Baby starts to feel heavy.
Week 30: Your emotions start to take its toll as you are now close to being a true mother.
Week 31: Lungs continues to develop and you may now start to decide your labor option.
Week 32: Your baby is now ready for survival.
Week 33: You started to feel terribly tired and just wanted to boost up your energy.
Week 34: The baby can now sense darkness and lightness.
Week 35: Baby’s weigh more as her brain is growing and your bladder starts to feel a little to more pressure.
Week 36: You may start to ask your doctor for signs of labor
Week 37: Anytime starting this week, your baby is ready for a new world, outside your womb.
Week 38: You have reached the full term of pregnancy, and your baby is eager to get out…soon.
Week 39: You are starting to feel signs of labor, and anytime soon, you know what will happen.
Week 40: The final week! Congratulations, you’re on your due date!
Week 41 and 42: Some women past their due date before the actual labor, so hang in there, just be patient.
